Women’s Addiction Treatment Programs

Women’s Drug Rehab in Denver and Dillon, CO Offers Hope for Drug Addiction

A drug addiction is a serious condition that has the power to take over your life. If you have already been through an inpatient treatment facility as a part of your addiction treatment, then you are well on your way to reaching many of your recovery goals. However, women often find that they need additional support, and that is what we have to offer you, here at Denver Women’s Recovery.

Most women find that it’s nearly impossible for them to treat their drug addictions effectively within the thirty days that they have spent in inpatient treatment. Quite often, they’re struggling with co-occurring disorders that require additional care, and it’s not safe for them to return to living at home with their families yet.

If that is the situation you have found yourself in, it’s important for you to know that there is a place where you can go to get the additional help you need. By continuing to go through drug rehab in a setting like the one found at Denver Women’s Recovery, you’ll receive all the support you need.

Alcohol Rehab for Women in Colorado for Those Suffering from Alcoholism

Alcoholism is a condition that plagues women from all different backgrounds and of all different ages. There’s no need to worry, because at Denver Women’s Recovery, we can provide you with the additional help you need.

Just like drug addiction, alcoholism is a disease that needs ongoing care and treatment. You’ll receive that at our facility. We offer a number of different treatment methods that will meet your personal needs and provide you with the ongoing support you need.

If you are a woman who is suffering from alcoholism, please know that recovery is possible.

Types of Treatment Offered Through Our Addiction Treatment Programs

It is so important for you to know about the various types of treatment that are available to you when you come to Denver Women’s Recovery. Whether you have an alcohol addiction, a drug addiction, or you’re a woman struggling with a different issue altogether, we have services that can help you.

Intensive outpatient treatment, or IOP, is a service that offers you a higher level of care. It is an excellent option for those who aren’t quite ready to transition into outpatient treatment after they have completed an inpatient program for drug and alcohol rehab. You will have frequent appointments with your therapist and participate in various support groups as you participate with IOP. You will find the amount of support you receive to be exactly what you need during this critical time in your recovery.

Co-occurring disorders are quite often what lead to addictions, and it’s so important for you to receive treatment for them at the same time as you receive treatment for your addiction. There are a number of different co-occurring disorders that women often experience alongside addictions. Quite often, it’s not enough to just go to a women’s drug and alcohol treatment center. To improve the outcome for the patient any co-occurring disorders needs to be treated first.

If you have been through an inpatient treatment program before, then you undoubtedly understand the importance of group therapy as a part of your treatment. Group therapy allows you meet and connect with other women who are facing the same struggles in their addictions that you are. Together, you can learn, grow and depend on one another for support during a time when you need it the most.

Continuing to work with a therapist in an IOP setting is just as important as it was during your inpatient stay. Your therapist will assist you with continued healing from the issues that led to your addiction, and any co-occurring disorders you may be suffering from will be addressed during this time as well.

For women who have gone through inpatient treatment, they often need help integrating back into their daily lives. Case management services are available for this purpose. These services have been so beneficial for so many women who needed that extra support as they continued in recovery.

For women who suffer from PTSD, they often need additional support as they recover from drug or alcohol addiction. Trauma informed care is designed to offer them that support. PTSD can be treated in a safe environment, providing women with the help they need to recover from their addiction long-term.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy) is a proven method of treatment for patients with PTSD, or who are suffering from other mental health issues. Women who need EMDR can receive it at Denver Women’s Recovery.

A gambling addiction can be very similar to a drug or alcohol addiction, and it also requires ongoing treatment. Women with gambling addictions will be able to receive the help and support they need to maintain recovery.

For women who are in need of alcohol and drug treatment, it’s so important for them to have drug and alcohol screening as well. This provides an extra level of accountability that has helped many women stay in recovery.

All of the above are available to you when you go to drug and alcohol rehab at Denver Women’s Recovery.

Substance Abuse Treatment With Recovery Housing

When you combine recovery housing with IOP treatment, the result is an approach to drug and alcohol treatment that many women need. At Denver Women’s Recovery, we combine recovery housing with alcohol and drug rehab and case management services to give women a safe living environment and the additional support they need during this critical time in their lives.

Recovery housing at Denver Women’s Rehab provides you with group housing that will effectively measure your progress throughout your participation in the program. Many women find that this service alone may be the missing component that they wish they had been able to experience when they completed inpatient treatment in the past.

The best part about recovery housing is that it actually is a transitional program. All of the different parts of a woman’s life are taken into account before her stay begins. This includes fulfilling her spiritual, employment and educational needs. Sober living allows for a personalized treatment plan to be created for each woman that addresses those specific needs and helps her to integrate well, while providing support and encouragement along the way.
